These are good-looking sneakers. They have a simple, low profile design and are the right width. Their coloring is more of an off-white vs. pure white, but that's a good thing so they don't blind you. Some people have written reviews complaining about the heel area of the shoe being ultra stiff and tearing into their Achilles. That never happened to me. I've always worn these with crew or dress socks, so maybe that helps prevent it.
I've worn my pair at least 20 times now and they're holding up. No horribly deep creases in the uppers and no peeling or anything (my pics were taken today). They're easy to clean; a wet paper towel does the job. The shoes are pretty comfortable. They have just enough cushioning (I have bony feet) to not hurt. Where the shoes are lacking is support. After a day of wearing them my feet sometimes feel sore. I have low arches, and end up with tender feet if I wear them for an 8-10 hour period or walk a lot in them.
I like the look of these shoes a lot so I'll keep wearing them, but not if I'm going to walk a lot. Inserts will probably help.
Cole Haan Men's Grand Crosscourt II Sneaker
Well-sized, clean and comfortable
color is more tan than expected...size runs bigger than normal...Im a 12" but I think 11.5 should have fit perfectly while using low profile socks. I was going to return the item due to the color...hard to match and looked cheeper, but decided to apply a leather protectant from Aldo, and it save the shoes...now they look darker and more classy than original. Saved restocking and shipping costs... :)
My go to shoes. Bought them also in tan. You can dress them up or down and most important, they are comfrorable and light! Good for 12 hours of straighht use.
Size is true. Fits perfect
Just what I need. Bought at a good price under Used - Good condition but it is in almost perfect condition! Super light pair of leather sneakers.
Light weight, good cushion and very comfortable. I walk from the train to the office everyday, at least 2 miles. My feet don’t hurt or get tired. Can’t wait to see how they feel when I’m at a convention and on my feet for 3 days straight.
Cozy, cool, and invisible. Can wear it like a casual pair of shoes! :)
Premium leather upper. Fit as expected. Intended to wear these with jeans an chinos but the look good with shorts as well.
Update: I wore these with no show socks and they tore up my Achilles. 2 hours at school in these and I had to take them off. Haven’t tried with long socks yet but I can’t imagine that fixes the problem. BUYER BEWARE
Great quality and looked really good! Went perfect with his suit.
For this money you getting bad quality product, because color doesn’t match exactly , it is badly taped and the terrible smell of cheap materials makes your first impression of this shoes even worse.
I just recived one shoe
It is a nice shoes, but it hurt my foot.
I just tried the shoes few hours, but the left heel was hurt due to "defect on left shoe", pls check detail in attach image.
Can I return or you can send another pair?
I rarely write reviews so heads up: this product is a stinker.
First the good: you can pick these up on amazon for sub $50 if you get lucky, I think I paid around $70-80.
They are very comfortable and stylish, if you want an affordable take on the clean classic leather sneaker that brands like common projects have turned into an (expensive) modern icon.
Great, what’s bad then?
I’ve only worn them about 20 times, and they are now unwearable. I questioned the leather from the start and decided to try to be extra careful with them, but the leather started deteriorating right off the bat, with my pant leg wearing through the nice brown color on the the left shoe and into the lighter color underneath, see my pic. Like seriously, I think the top color is airbrushed on or something.
Then the color started coming off the left shoe’s toe, revealing light brown underneath.
The last straw was just now I accidentally stepped on a piece of packing tape and it touched the toe of my shoe. I pulled it off, and along came the color of the leather! Now the shoes are completely unwearable. Wtf?
Weirdly, the leather on the right is also degrading noticeably, but not nearly as fast as the left shoe.
My recommendation: if you want a shoe that will look fly for an event or two, these are a decent pick, but if you want to use this look as part of your regular wardrobe then look elsewhere: the breeze from a butterfly wing can take the color off these puppies ????
I bought this shoe less than a month ago I wore them maybe 6 Times the leather gets very creased the whole toe box gets out of shape it look s worse then my shoe that I'm wearing for a year the inside lining is man made is already ripping & eaten up I'm very disappointed on this buy I paid for $ 110 shoe that's not going to last another month (yes I most say it's very light weight& comfy but not worse it if you can't walk in them for to long
Firstly I purchased a black pair in 11,5D and really liked them accepting the fact that they won’t last too long. Their soft leather has a nice soft feel but it wrinkles and stains easily. Anyhow, I ordered a second black pair and a third in light brown, both same size. To my surprise these supposedly same shoes had an entirely different fit! The brown was much tighter and was hard and unpleasant to wear for the whole day while the black felt soft and comfortable in just a couple of hours. I thought I received a wrong size but the printing inside indicated that both shoes where 11,5D. So I decided to measure them. From the pictures attached it’s obvious that despite the fact that they are the same model made by the same manufacturer or production line, there are not the same! This is the first time something similar happens to me after buying hundreds pairs of shoes! I am worried that these are not original CH’s! Buyers be aware! There is something “fishy” here!
These shoes looks like a cheap replica of a cole haan. I haven't used them and one of them looks like in the picture.
I ordered two pairs in different colors in the same size the boxes were right but the shoes weren't one set was the wrong size, and looked a bit used.
