Bought as a Christmas present for a 13 year old who still enjoys barbies. Love this! brought me back to my Barbie days!
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter and she was so thrilled that her Barbies could now have babies to take care of. The playset comes with a blonde Dr. Barbie in scrubs with a stethoscope and white detailed doctor shoes, 2 babies, a changing table with two removable baby beds, and a few small bottle accessories for the babies that are sure to get lost. She loves the babies, but I'm disappointed that they can't sit up - their arms are movable, but the legs don't budge, so they can only lay down. The changing table is made of cheap feeling plastic so I'm not sure how long that will last and the mobile over the changing table doesn't even spin. I also don't like that Barbie's legs don't bend at all and neither do her arms - she can't even hold the baby really because one arm sticks straight out.
What I'm most disappointed about is that Barbie has a huge bald spot in the back of her head right out of the box (see attached photo). I can't believe that Mattel thinks that passes a quality control check. Barbie is in need of some Rogaine!! I've purchased many Barbies for my daughter over the last few years and just like all the others in recent years, the hair feels almost greasy and thin and gets frizzy very quickly. I always have to put their hair in a pony tail to try to prevent that. Mattel needs to bring back the high quality hair of the Barbies I had in the 1990s because what they are selling now is way overpriced for the lacking quality. $24 for the playset when all I really wanted was the babies is too much, especially when it comes with a BALDING Barbie.
This is a great fun set! My kids love playing with this! They put the babies into the crib and high chair that came with their doll house.
The babies are 2 inches long and are very cute. Their neck doesn't move but their arms move up and down and their legs move up and down but only a little.
The barbies left arm stays bent to hold the babies and her right arm moves up and down, her legs move up and down, and her neck moves side to side.
Not too happy with this specific barbie's quality. Her hair is that cheap bleached looking type that feels like fishing wire and it is not even covering her entire head. It looks like her hair is thinning lol. I'm including pictures of a 'bald' spot. Also the actual plastic for the baby holder thingy, looks cheap too. I haven't opened this for my daughter as of yet because I was kind of unsure about keeping or returning, but this has babies and the babies are okay. I actually bought this one at Target.com for $19.99 because it was almost $40 here on Amazon. I don't think it is worth more than $15 :/ honestly. Cute idea though.
Happily surprised that the box arrived undamaged as this is for a gift.
All parts are intact
Good quality. Bought it as Christmas gift for my 2 year old. She puts a few dolls in it. She loves it. She rocks her babies to sleep.
I wanted to get my daughter a nice wooden cradle for her dolls. It perfectly fits her 18 inch American dolls, and the pillow, blanket, and mattress are perfect. It's nice and deep without being wide enough for her to think it's a good idea to get in it herself (yet, anyway.) It holds one American girl doll, and rocks nicely. I also love the bow detail on the sides. Best of all, she seems happy with it.
No happy about my latest kidkraft purchase. I've bought the kitchen, dollhouse and high chair and cradle for my daughter. I recently purchased the Tiffany bow high chair and cradle for my niece and the cradle was in pretty bad shape. The blanket and pillow were stuck to the walls of the cradle and took off some paint which you'll see in the photos. There's also a missing screw which was not one I was to screw in but that should have already been placed. And one of the screws I'm to put in does not go in all the way. I've tried numerous times and even my husband tried. I finally gave up. Not what I expect from this brand.
I bought this cradle for my 4 yr old daughter. This cradle is adorable. The bow accent gives it that sweet girly look. Easy to put together. It is big enough for American Girl Dolls & Lifelike Baby Dolls. It did come with a very small scratch on it, but not bad enough send it back. Nothing a dab of white paint can't fix. 4 stars for the scratch, otherwise, it would deserve a 5 star.
I ordered this and the Tiffany bow lil' doll highchair for my daughter's birthday. When they were delivered, I put the boxes to the side and wrapped them for her birthday. By the time they were opened to be assembled, the return window had already closed. They are beautiful but the company was careless and packaged BOTH products with wet paint! The blanket, pillow and seat covers were stuck to the sides of the frames and had to be pulled off leaving marks on the wood. The tray of the highchair was also assembled incorrectly at the manufacturer and had screw holes in top.
It put together easily except there are a few things that don’t make me happy: there is a stain or something on mine on one end of the cradle and it’s the side w the bow on it to it faces out and doesn’t look so hot; also, the side panels and the end panels are different: sides are glossy and smooth, ends are not glossy and a little unfinished feeling. Don’t know if I got a bad one or if this is how they all are. It is a Cmas gift for my daughter so I can’t send it back to get another one in time for Cmas which totally stinks. Also the little number/parts stickers are about impossible to get off. I don’t think I’d recommend it.
Easy to put together and cute idea, but it came with the bedding sticking to the wood, which left an imprint of the design on the crib. It was poor quality. However, it's too close to Christmas to return so I will just live with it. I would not recommend this product.
Very nice and easy to ou together. My little girl loved it. I bought it as a present for hr 3rd birthday.
I usually am a big fan of kid Kraft but this was so poorly made. Like many other reviews, the cradle was chipped and the bedding had stuck to the wood leaving stains. When I tried to remove the stain it only made it worse. The worst part was we didn’t realize it until Christmas Eve when we were preparing for Santa. So disappointed. Save you money and buy another brand.
Not the quality I expect from KidKraft. The finish was damaged and required painting. Finish is not sturdy. Design is cute and daughter likes it. Hoping it stays together.
I bought these accessories to go with my daughter's Corolle Mon Premier Bebe Calin Maria doll. The jar lids really open, the wipes container opens to REAL dry baby wipes, and the liquid in the bottles empties and fills back up. The diaper and bib are easy to put on and take off a baby doll, and the diaper bag fits all of the accessories as well as several baby additional baby clothes. It really is a cute bundle of baby doll products, and I am very happy with this purchase.
The set came missing pieces. I don't have time to return it due to the fact it's a gift I need in 2 days. The little fork and spoon is missing from the package.
This is a cute set and perfect for our toddler. However, the quality is not what I expected from Melissa and Doug products. Sticker labels on the toys were upside down and not easily fixable (see photo).
Everything that a little girl needs to take care of her dolly. It has been a lot of fun watching her be the "mommy". Imagination play for a three year old. Perfect size for toddler hands. Best of all it comes with a BAG to hold it all instead of having pieces of it going all over the place. The bag has velcro at the tops to help keep the pouches closed. We also purchased a Melissa and Doug doll that comes with a potty chair and water bottle. It has been super using both "kits" for potty training. This bundle comes with "diaper underwear" and "diaper wipes". We use those also in the "potty training" routine.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old daughter. She's a huge baby doll fanatic. When she opened this she promptly stopped opening gifts and spent the next two hours taking care of all of her babies! It wasn't until later that afternoon that she was interested in opening the rest of her presents.
It has only been a couple of days, but she can't get enough of this set. Sometimes I'll realize that the house has gotten very quiet, I'll see her in her room feeding, changing, and rocking her babies. It's great seeing her pretend play so sweetly and peacefully!
While the bag does not close with everything inside and the closures are not very good, this is an adorable and playful bundle. My daughter likes to play picnic and this works very well. The "wipes" are long gone (lol) but she enjoyed taking them out of the container. This works with all kinds of dolls, stuffed toys or puppets and she plays with it, or parts of this, often.
The wipes container is still a favorite and usually houses some small unrelated toy (and once toilet paper). Since we've had this for over 6 months some of the toys have been mixed with others, and truly this goes together with dolls or my daughters stuffed dog who also needs milk and juice :)
This toy was not a huge hit at Christmas. However, months later, it gets used over and over. I like that we can use the bag to place play food items and put the toys away.
